Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir of Immanuel rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm, except during Advent and Lent when the rehearsals begin at 8:00 pm. The choir sing weekly, primarily for the services of Holy Communion. In addition, it sings for special festival services. Dean Mehl leads the Chancel Choir.

Handbells
The handbell choir rehearses on Monday evenings at 6pm. Seasonal music as well as special music receives attention. The handbell choir provides music for services on the average of once a month. Dean Mehl leads the handbell choir.

Praise Band
Our Praise Band leads and accompanies the songs at the 10:00 service on Sunday morning. Each Sunday the makeup of the band is different, but might include, lead singer, backup singers, drums, piano, bass, electric guitars, acoustic, as well as other instruments such as flute, sax, violin, synth, percussion.
Our lead singers and instrumentalists are scheduled on a rotating and flexible schedule, and typically practice during the week before the Sunday they are scheduled to play.
New members are always welcome in this group. If you are interested in joining, the director will meet with you to find out where your gifts and talents fit best. Please contact Ellen Prohl at (630) 251-0795 for more information.
Praise Choir
We are a choir made up of people who love to Praise God with a voice of singing! There are no auditions for this group, and no long term commitment, members must only have a love for lifting their voices in song.
We sing at the 10:00 worship service approximately two Sunday’s a month, as well as for special occasions. We practice on Thursday’s at 6:30pm, and meet in the front of the church.

Joyful Noise
Joyful Noise children’s choir is for all 2nd-8th graders. We meet September-May on Wednesday’s from 5:45-6:15.
We sing for church service 1x/month, and for other special occasions. All are welcome, at any time during the year.
