Welcome to a Journey with Jesus.

Here at Immanuel, we love our kids.  Jesus has a lot to say to us about how we should have “faith like a child”.

The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven
At that time, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”   (Matthew 18:1-5)

During our Journey with Jesus hour, it is our goal to come before our Father with the joy that He’s placed in our hearts, and honor and glorify him through prayer, through  praise and worship, and through equipping hearts with His Word.  

All of the Journey with Jesus staff are called to share the Way, the Truth, and the Life of Jesus, and as scripture tells us, to also come before Him like children, so that we also grow in our relationship with Jesus.

 We meet from September (the first Sunday after Labor Day) through May (Promotion Sunday is 2nd Sunday of the month).  In between the two services, Journey with Jesus begins with our Call to Worship at 9:30 a.m, kids go their classrooms at 9:45 and class concludes at 10:25. Families can attend the 8:15am Traditional service, before Journey with Jesus or the 10:30 Contemporary Service.
