Music Ministry Opportunities for All

We would love to hear from you about your desire to become more involved in the ministry of music at Immanuel. Opportunities exist to join one (or more!) of our ensembles.

For more information contact: Pat Larson, Director of Traditional Worship, at the church office.

Chancel Choir ~ Rehearsal Wed. night & Sunday 8a.m. Service

Immanuel’s Chancel Choir is the most advanced choral ensemble at Immanuel, singing twice each month at the 8a.m. service, and for special holiday services. Some choral experience and an ability to read music are definite benefits to those who sing in this ensemble, open to high school age through adults. We welcome new members regularly and hope that you will consider joining us.

Joyful NoiseJoyful Noise at Immanuel ~ K through 6th Grades

Joyful Noise is a Service Choir for K-6th grades which meets Wednesdays. The main focus of the choir is to serve the church by sharing music during the school year. A secondary focus of the choir is to use music to impress on our students hearts and minds truths of our faith. “God my shepherd gives me all I need” or “All things bright and beautiful the Lord God made them all” or “hallelujah! We sing your praise, all our hearts are filled with gladness”. Music has an emotional power to heal, teach and develop children, and the music for this choir will hopefully be running through their heads at other times besides during choir rehearsals.

Instrumental Music Groups at Immanuel

The Traditional Worship Services at Immanuel have contributions from groups such as the Handbell Choir, Immanuel Brass and Sacred Strings. The Contemporary Worship Services include music led by the Praise Band.
